Our Presentation Night will be at The Clubhouse and will be on Saturday 19th May. We are to charge £5 entry (just to help boost club funds) and want all players and partners there so we can have a few beers together in readiness for next season which is our 75th Anniversary.
The Chelsea v Bayern Match will be on the big-screen.

Apologies for the recent drop in web site standard but I have been very busy coupled with a few problems with the server when previously downloaded details were lost !
Anyway, we are now at the time when we have to consider our stance for next season. Our main problem is finance. We have to find in excess of £6,000 to survive next season and in that endeavour I have to ask all of you to look for possible sponsors. Sometimes your employees have a 'pot' for such things and although they will achieve very little for their money they are often more than happy to contribute to local sports, etc.
If you don't ask, you don't get!
Additionally, social fund-raisers have all but ceased over the last few seasons and these alone can bring in over £1,000 if each team runs just one event. A golf-day; a race night; a 'gentleman's evening', a quiz night. All are fairly simple to arrange. Volunteer - you do not need to be asked. Speak to Mark or Paul if you have any ideas.
Our Club AGM will be probably be on Wednesday 25th April. 8pm at the Clubhouse (to be confirmed by Hon. Sec.). It is essential you are all there to have your say and show support for our future. Watch this space and the posters in the clubhouse for confirmation and further details.
