As you know I watched the new 3rd team boys play Real Dagenham yesterday over at the Lane. Jack has got a decent team there with good players all over the park playing good footy . However I fear for them in the coming season because their lack of discipline was patently obvious and but for the fact that this was a friendly, there could easily have been 5 or 6 cards for Upminster all for dissent and the abuse given to the ref after the game was probably the worst I have seen for some time. Granted the Referee wasnt top notch but no referee deserves that kind of treatment good or bad. They need to grow up pretty quickly otherwise the previous good behaviour of the Upminster 3s and 4s will quickly be forgotten and they will soon gain the kind of reputation amongst referee's that nobody wants to see. C'mon Jack sort it out son. Ricey
