The Reserves game away at Frenford was only one of about seven games to start today in the EOL but was the only one that did not play to the finish as the Referee abandoned the game on the hour with our lads winning 2 -1.
SUBJECT: ALL PLAYERS MID-SEASON MEETING.

A disappointing attendance to the meeting but those who came brought with them a very positive approach to the gathering and our future looks promising.
We have commitments from all four teams for next season and some new management for the third team from a very experienced and qualified background.
We seem to have secured some sponsorship deals that are not tied to a named kit purchase and that will help us fulfill our financial responsibilities to UHSA. We still need to find a fair bit of cash to survive this season but a push on outstanding fees, etc. will help in that endeavour. Don't wait to be asked - if you know you owe money - 'cough-up' !!!
We also intend to run a social function soon and charge a small fee to come to the presentation evening, just to help out towards the end of the season.
Final decisions will be ratified at the AGM in April but it is proposed not to increase fees next season so the annual subscription fee will be £80 and match fees £5.
Each team will be asked to organise at least one fund-raising venture, the 1sts will do their golf day, the 3rds will run their pre-season tournament so that leaves the traditional quiz and race nights for the Reserves and 4ths but new ideas will be welcomed.
